About TEFANZ

The purpose of TEFANZ

The purpose of the TEFANZ is:

To help achieve these goals, TEFANZ holds a Forum and a Conference in alternating years. Odd years are the Forum and even years are the Conference.

The Forum is an opportunity for representatives from members organisations and institutions to gather to discuss current issues and matters of interest with Ministry of Education and Teaching Council representatives, as well as unions and other senior people in teacher education.

The Conference is an opportunity for teacher educators to share research and practices from ITE, to celebrate TEFANZ awards, and promote positive developments across the sector.
