We will conclude the forum at 3.00 p.m. on Friday 26 July.
The major focus of the TEFANZ Forum will be catering for diversity.
Purpose of the Forum

The forum will provide an opportunity for teacher educators from throughout New Zealand to discuss (in plenary sessions and smaller groups) current ITE issues with colleagues, with a focus on catering for diversity.

The major outcome of the two days will be guiding statements & suggested actions for TEFANZ.
It is also intended that participants will gain a better understanding of themselves as teacher educators and the purpose and work of TEFANZ. Hopefully, they will also develop ideas that they will implement in their institutions.
This is not a conference. In general, we will keep it low key, and maximise opportunities for participants to discuss important teacher education issues with colleagues. Sessions will have a ‘chair’ and the main ideas will recorded for feedback and collation, and for the development of TEFANZ key statements.
Number attending – the aim is to have 2 to 4 representatives per member institution, but providers may send more.
Cost: $150 (inc GST) per person – includes evening meal on Thursday
Registration will open the second week of May.
